Don Temple Family Foundation Gives 1.5 Million to MemorialCare Hospital

In efforts to give back to the community that supported him, Don Temple aimed to focus his charitable efforts in the arts, education, children, and healthcare.
$1.5 Million to MemorialCare Hospital
The Don Temple Family Charitable Foundation donated $1.5 million to the MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center Foundation. This generous donation will lead to the new Cardiac Monitoring Unit within the MemorialCare Heart & Vascular Institute to be named the Don Temple Family Charitable Foundation Cardiac Monitoring Unit.

Aquarium of the Pacific
Pacific Visions, the Aquarium of the Pacific’s latest, 29,000 square foot, two-story sustainable structure, was a massive expansion project costing $53 million. The Don Temple Family Charitable Foundation donated $1 million to this exciting addition.
Long Beach City College Math Success Center
The Long Beach City College’s Math Success Center was created to help provide students with access to Supplemental Learning Activities and tutoring at no cost. The Don Temple Family Charitable Foundation donated $750,000 to the success of this project.
Ronald McDonald House’s “A Few Good Men Gala”
In early December, the Ronald McDonald House hosted its 7th Annual A Few Good Men Gala. This event was sponsored by the Don Temple Family Charitable Foundation and hosted at the Pacific Room at the Long Beach Arena.
